Stephanie M. Barnett’s panel addressed ‘Income for Support,’ which included defining income, pass-through income, retained and distributable income, perquisites, taxable vs. non-taxable income, control, depreciation and non-cash expenses. Barnett’s co-panelists were Darlene L. Elmore, CPA, The Honorable Thomas Trent Lewis (in Los Angeles), and The Honorable Jeffrey Burke (in San Francisco).
In addition, Barnett moderated a Q&A panel with Bruce A. Clemens, Esq., Darlene L. Elmore, CPA, Tracy Farryl Katz, Esq., CPA, CFF, and Monica Mazzei, Esq., which addressed ‘Best Practices for Case Management.’ The panel discussed managing expectations, document management, case strategy, deadlines and case costs.
