Stephanie M. Barnett was invited to speak on Friday, March 11, 2016, to the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC) Los Angeles Study Group. She talked about how mental health professionals can provide invaluable assistance to family law attorneys, from containing client emotions, tempering expectations, interpreting data, and beyond. The discussion included insight into what attorneys really want from mental health professionals and how mental health professionals can give attorneys what they want while maintaining professional ethics.
